Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

Desaposhini librarie’s  year longed platinum jubilee  celebration will concluded on 6th Jan 2013. The functions  have  4 days program which is started  from 3 rd Jan  and will concluded  on 6th January. Srarting ceremony was  inagurated by   M.T. Vasudevan Nair. his inaugural speech he mentioned that for a reader desaposhini  is not  a mere book house, but it is in all  aspects a university. Its contribution for reviving Malabar drama  world is immense.He also  recalled the performance of  late  Kunnhandi’s & Balan K Nair in much acclaimed drama Edipus. Chembil Vivekanandan (ward  councilor)  preside the function and Sree P.K Harikumar (President,State Library Council ), Sree Purushan Kadalundi(MLA) etc  attend the function. Vote of thanks was given  by M. T. Sethunath. The day was concluded with the preformance show done by students of  Desaposhini..
