About Reading Room

Desaposhini reading room which is a part of the Desaposhini public library was the meeting  place of thoughts and creativity during the freedom movement. A crunched tiny room with kerosene lanterns, it has now expanded into a 1000 square feet area  in which 500 sq-ft is fully dedicated to children with computers and internetfascilites for the childrens,thanks to the RRL-foundation. Readers can now avail 22 leading regional language and national newspapers, 106 magazines, state and central bulletins, research magazines etc. Regardless of the age of the reader, magazines from all domains suiting their needs are now available with the reading room.
