Nostalgic Past

Desaposhini was the only organization which owned theater properties and other costumes during late 40.  Elegant draperies designed and stitched by desaposhini members were given on rent for others who were in need of it. Thus, beautifully made curtains became a source of income for the library. When equipped with theatre costumes and properties, desaposhini artists took their next step towards the social change

Time has changed ..Era of hand sketched back dropes become a memory. But Desaposhini is till satisfying  the  curtain requirement for performing arts and other programs.

Items  we offering for rent  are

• Front curtain(38″X12″)
• Back stage
• Quarter forms
• Side& Top
• Above curtains sets are avail be in lower size also (like 30X12 etc)
• Our rates include the  transportation and curtain fixing charges.
